We're passionate about cooking and it's a dream come true to open our restaurant so we can share this passion with the community. Stacks On Route 66 Promise: Promise to ourselves and to our customers to serve the most fresh and delicious foods using only the finest ingredients and a commitment to quality. We continue to uphold this promise by making sure that every dish that leaves our kitchen is the best it can be. Restrooms: They're available. Credit Cards: They're accepted. The staffer will bring a portable credit card reader to handle your transactions. Location/Parking : Shop use to be where Flappy Jacks use to be located. New owner came in a changed the shop to Stacks On Route 66. Decent amount of parking. Ambiance/Decor: Neat ambiance with cool decor along the walls and modern furnishings through out the shop. Food Of Choice: 1) Stacks Fave Skillet: Consisted of diced ham, bacon, sausage, onions and bell peppers topped with cheddar and Monterey jack cheese over a layer of hash browns. It also came with 2 eggs cooked any way you like and either either a side of pancakes or toast. I decided on over easy eggs so once I broke the yoke, it could ooze on to all the ingredients. I decided on the side of pancakes. The skillet was good. Made it a tad better with some ketchup and tabasco sauce. Thought the pancakes were a bit dry. Stacks On Route 66 For Thought: Wouldn't mind coming back to try other items on the menu.
Love this place but it's always a long wait. Took a chance and Wednesday is the ticket! No wait, excellent service, thank you Alejandra, and the most delicious food! The place is clean and feels like you're at home!
Fast, freash and friendly service A1 PLACE. It's a place we're family can enjoy the hot food and friendly service.
Great food, friendly service, surprisingly good coffee for a dine. our waiter Aziz was excellent and took great care of us!
Great food! Great service! Had the chocolate chip pancakes, the stack signature, and the blintzes. All were delicious. We ate outside with our dog in a fan cooled area. They even gave our dog a giant bowl of ice water to stay cool. We really enjoyed ourselves and will certainly be back.
Stacks on Route 66 is a breakfast gem that never disappoints. The Texas Skillet is hands down the best dish on the menu--loaded with tender steak, crispy hash browns, perfectly cooked eggs, fresh veggies, mushrooms, and just the right amount of cheese. It's a hearty and flavorful meal that hits all the right spots. They have many seating options such as a patio area and indoors with a lot of vintage decorations. And if you've got a sweet tooth, the Hawaiian waffle is a must-try. Topped with a delightful coconut syrup that's not too sweet, it's the perfect complement to the savory dishes. The portions here are generous, making it easy to share family-style, which is always a bonus. To top it all off, the staff at Stacks is incredibly nice and attentive, making sure you have everything you need for a great dining experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is worth the stop.
My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant for the first time today for breakfast. It was very busy, but the customer service was great. We were greeted the moment we walked up and seated within five minutes of our arrival. The breakfast was phenomenal. Huge servings and very delicious. Our coffee cups were always filled, and the customer service was the best I've experienced in a long time. I had: the avocado toast. Two eggs served your way on a large bed of avocado on toast of your choice, served on a plate of fresh arugula and cherry tomatoes. You also get a choice of hashbrowns, pancakes, cottage cheese, or fruit. I chose the hashbrowns, and they were so crispy, delicious, and well seasoned. Tons of avocado on my good quality sourdough toast. Very large serving size and the entire plate was only $14. I gave it a 10/10. My boyfriend: The Neptune seafood omelette. It was made with fresh crab and shrimp, and was a huge portion size. It contained real chunks of crab, not imitation crab.It comes with hashbrowns and pancakes. It cost about $20. Definitely 10/10. Our server was very attentive, friendly and efficient. Hands-down, the best breakfast place I've been to in years. We sat on the patio, which was very nice. It was a warm day, but they had fans up and it was very shady. The inside of the restaurant was very spacious and charming, with cute, pop-culture/ vintage movie and tv decor, and murals painted all over the walls. I highly recommend this place for breakfast. It does get crowded, so I recommend going on the early-ish side of the morning ( before 10 am).
Ambiance~5/5~This was a fantastic choice of a super late lunch, early dinner for me....I was looking for a fun restaurant with restaurant radio going off in the City of Glendora, but especially on Route66. Gotta love the large table to write on....Please consult the attached pics below for reference. Service: 5/5~Extremely friendly from the busser and waiter who sent me unlimited house brew refills with lots of varied creamers all stacked up inferencing the restaurant's name, 'Stacks on Route66.' Food: 5/5 very delicious I took the rest of the hash browns off my plate to go....just the salad was dry I couldn't eat that but that was just an extra item showing up on the whole 'Avocado Toast,' plate ensemble. Drink: 5/5. I got bottomless coffee refills from the nice waiter working here. You both made my weekend already.
This place can get packed. I came here with my mom since we were nearby. I chose to get their Polish skillet ($17.99) with a side of biscuits and gravy. My mom chose to get their Denver omelet with a side of buttermilk pancakes. The Polish skillet came in a warm skillet with crispy hashbrowns and chopped Polish sausage was piled on top with chopped tomatoes and onions with melted Monterey Jack cheese. The biscuits and gravy was fluffy and soft and the gravy was a bit bland. My mom's order was filling with plenty of chopped bell peppers, onions, and chopped ham with plenty of melted cheese. The pancakes were fluffy and the syrup was not too sweet and they gave a good amount of butter. The staff was nice and the place was clean. Very loud though with a lot of family and large groups. Parking lot can get packed.
